Japan Before and After

I ran across these images while looking up news on the disaster in Japan.

The old saying of a picture speaking a thousand words has rarely been truer than here. Take a look and you'll understand the sheer horror of what has happened.

Please remember to give to a legitimate charity seeking to help the people of Japan.

They are going to need it.

I'm sorry to be a downer. I'll try to be more positive tomorrow when I open the contest.

  1. Sorry Richard I didn't mean anything bad by my downer comments. That was more towards the industry's health which I think we are only going to go uphill from here. But these events in Japan is just terrible... I will never joke around about something so horrific.

Those images are truly shocking! That's just total destruction! My brother's Final Fantasy XI account just got turned off. Square Enix just announced the government is trying to save power so SE had to turn off their servers. That's how bad it is over there... It's going to effect business extremely!

  2. @ Excel Generations: You have nothing to be sorry for! My apology for being a downer had absolutely zero to do with any comments you made. If I in any way unintentionally made you think I was bothered by any comment you'd made, please forgive me because that wasn't my intent at all.

My comment was strictly me saying "I'm sorry to bring up the bad news in Japan again but I thought everyone should see these pics."

  3. My mistake. Thought you felt bad because of my debbie downer comment few days ago. ><

Those pics you showed though totally look like some DBZ fight just happened. It's utter destruction... :( Speaking of dbz, kai has a ton of episodes running on nick toons right now. But yeah... I just can't believe so much destruction happened... I have a friend in the national guard and hes been on stand by because of these events.

  5. Wow is the best thing I can say. But this recent massive earthquakes make me wonder if the US will be getting one soon. I just hope everything goes good from here on out. (I don't mean that in a bad way).

  9. http://helpjapan.onepiecepodcast.com/ I already gave some money, they need about $16,000 more for their goal. Which isn't bad since they've already started to take donations. Not bad for a week, before it even started.

  10. Wow they hit their target over night. 25k in the bag! I loved Mary Elizabeth McGlynn's segment. Totally didn't know she was married to the guy who does the voice of Cosmo from Fairly Odd Parents. Lol his voice is so funny!
